2010 was a great year for OSS; we produced some truly innovate online destinations. We implemented some of the newest technologies and continue to harness the latest development tools. Here are a few highlights of our work from last year:
eventfully.com – a comprehensive event planning website. It provides web applications that empower the viewer to find, evaluate, negotiate, and contract with event service providers with a full set of Project Management tools at their disposal.
Chevy ads for the iPad – OSS developed HTML5 mini-sites for Chevy brands. These mini-sites were advertised on Corner Banners displayed on the ESPN iPad site. The mini-sites featured display orientation detection and dynamic loading of corresponding content, embedded video, image galleries and a 360 degree rotation emulator.
arielre.com – using the Drupal Content Management System, OSS developed the website for the insurance and reinsurance subsidiary of Ariel Holdings, Ltd.
labranche.com – OSS developed an easily navigational HTML site for LaBranche & Co, Inc. with sharp designs and custom font technology. This project was also completed using the Drupal CMS.
maroonmt.com – OSS developed this multi-lingual site for the brokerage agency Maroon Mountain, which streamlines the process for Japanese clients to purchase products from U.S. based businesses.
umedia.kiev.ua – in association with the U.S. government agency, USAID, the U-Media project aims to strengthen independent media in the Ukraine to improve journalism, investigative reporting, and ethical standards. OSS designed and developed this multi-lingual Wordpress based portal.
gergelschool.com – developed in Flash, this multi-lingual site offers viewers the option to click the appropriate flag for the language in which they would like to view the site. English, Russian, German, and French languages have been implemented.
facebook.com/HungryGirl – OSS continues to develop for Facebook for our clients with FHTML technology. We built the custom Facebook web page for the television program Hungry Girl. For many companies, the social network has become an extension of their own websites. People are now realizing how important it is to have a functioning and well-designed Facebook page for their business.
