Passing third-party cookies to Chrome from an iFrame

Typically, frames are thought of as ancient web tech, relegated to the dustbin of history by responsive web design which, in turn, is also getting long in the tooth.  But there are times when we as web developers are forced to employ whatever technology that suits a specific project need, and few years back we did have to launch a web site with framed content. We were aware of the potential challenges that would come with collecting Google Analytics data from framed content residing on a different domain, but other considerations prevailed.

Dominos dealt a setback in website ADA ruling

As you might've heard, Dominos' appeal of United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit decision was rejected by Supreme Court.  Dominos argued that without specific accessibility guidelines for website and mobile apps, the lawsuit brought by one Guillermo Robles should be dismissed.

What amazing web apps work have we done so far in 2019?

We did some very cool website development work, with heavy Angular, Node.js, and React front end.  We continued doing our advanced WordPress and Drupal website development and support, with heavy focus on ADA and SEO optimization.  We created interactive HTML5 videos and assisted on Sitefinity website, built ecommerce portion of a large subscription website and battled WordPress hacks.  We worked as a web development extension team and on web apps projects with direct clients.  It might be  easier to list the technologies we did not work with then the ones we employed.

Our ADA web site services cover WCAG 2.1 A, AA, and AAA ADA testing, reporting, and remediation

We start every web site ADA testing project by performing automated tests using industry standard commercial software. This generates a preliminary report specific to WCAG 2.1 / Section 508 compliance level required - A, AA or AAA - which serves as a basis for in depth code review and manual testing with assistive technologies, such as screen readers. Once a full list of issues has been identified with both automated and manual testing, we go through each issues to verify its severity and occurrence.

ADA compliance for Revolution Slider (and other WordPress plugins)

Frameworks such as WordPress and Drupal are great in giving us ready to use, configurable website plugins and modules. The drawback is that sometimes these plugins lag behind in terms of compliance, which requires manual changes to code.  In this example we will look at bringing Revolution Slider into compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for website, specifically for ADA compliance with screen readers.
